Description
Grand Tour Bronze of Silenus. Silenus in Greek mythology was the companion and Tutor to the wine god Dionysus. This piece is a copy of the original found at Pompeii and now in the National Museum in Naples. A copy like this is also on view. Now mounted with a round piece of wood top and useful as a table.
