With a rectangular top with central oval marquetry inlay depicting the Greek goddess Athena interacting with Cecrops the mythical first king of Athens depicted as half man and half serpent. The case with a long drawer over a pair of sans traverse drawers with oval inlaid scene with chariot reminiscent of decoration on ancient Greek pottery. The panel flanked by muses holding a symbol and a lute. Ending on square tapered legs.
