Frick bill of sale described as a “Roman Chair of Golden Ebony” in Henry Fricks invoice for his summer home in Prides Crossing Massachusetts. Purchase price 325.00 dollars. This chair possibly used as a hall chair. Shaped saddle seat. Modelled on an ancient Roman throne chair. Frick’s home 104 room Eagle Rock now gone was the largest home ever built on the North Shore of Massachusetts.
