Description
English Leadwork Cistern rectangular with central WR and 1763 with a crown. Featuring crowns, chickens, shells, boars head, flower vases etc. Cisterns were used to collect rainwater from roof gutters on stately country homes in England. Removed from a Hamilton Massachusetts estate where it sat for 100 years.
