Description

Grey and white original marble top and conforming case section with two drawers in traverse and having gilt bronze ring handles. Central circular inlaid panel typical of the maker. Ormolu mount on center of base. Slight cabriole legs and gilt bronze feet. Leonard Boudin is one of the most celebrated ebenistes of the 18th century France. Commodes by this maker are in Versailles and the Louvre in Paris. Leonard Boudin 1735-1807 Achieved his masters in 1761. Stamped on top rear of case.
