Pair of French Moderne Bronze and Faux Tortoise End Tables from Michael Taylor, each with shaped tops with faux tortoise done in pieced sections. Bronze border. Scrolled legs joined by shaped H form stretchers. Pictured in Stephen Salny’s book “Michael Taylor Interior Design, pages 128 and 129; Roger Folger Miller home in Hillsborough CA, 1968, used there as coffee tables. Wear consistent with age and use. I bought these with the tops in poor condition, and my restorer did a great job replacing missing faux shell, etc.
